Avengers: Age of Ultron Trailer

This trailer showed us great costumes, awesome setting, new characters, a clear great villain, and good action which gives me much confidence that Avengers: Age of Ultron will be an amazing movie because the first trailer was so great. When this trailer first came out I gave it a A-, but now after watching it so many times since, I realize its more special than that.

New Unbroken Trailer

The new trailer of Unbroken may me want to see the movie even more. It showed great action, great acting, and an unbelievable story. It wasn't quite as epic as the first trailer, but it was still great.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) Review

My first observation was that George Lazenby was terrible replacement for Sean Connery, and none of the cast was very good at all, especially Blofeld who was great in the previous 2 films, but it just looks like they hired an amateur for this. In the beginning there were a few action scenes. They were absolutely terrible and hard to watch. It looked completely fake, and you want to have good action in an action movie. The next few scenes weren't much better. I know its 1969, but all of the previous bond films had better action sequences and this action belongs in the 50s and could be okay as the first bond, but not the 6th. The action after the first half-hour or so ranged from decent to good, with decent being the car chase, it was exciting, but not awesome, and good being the ski scenes which were interesting to watch, but never quite became the excellent action that a bond movie should have. Most of the film was very boring, and I couldn't keep my focus for very long. Many dialouges were stretched out too long, and also, there was a lot of romance, I know bond is a womanizer, but it almost became a romance, and not an action movie. The ending was downright terrible, and enjoyable action movies can't have tragic endings. But, there were a few good elements of the film. Again, I enjoyed the ski scenes. The music was great, and perfect and I was happy each time it came on. The setting was nice. Unfortunately, the bad overweighed the good in this film, but I am excited to see Connery return for Diamonds are Forever.

Also, what's with these ridiculous outfits bond wears?

Check out this great music.

In the Heart of the Sea Trailer

It started out terrible, with irrelevant music and no dialogue, and the trailer didn't get much better after that. The middle part was okay because it started to show characters and ha some narration, but none of the characters spoke  and I have no idea what to expect of this movie. The final part was like a horror preview with creepy music and describing "a demon", but I checked and this movie is not horror and should definitely not be. This trailer was literally the worst.

Focus Trailer

It wasn't very exciting, it didn't look funny, and all will smith movies have failed recently. This trailer gave me no reason to want to see, and It probably won't get very good ratings. The world of con men is interesting and there is a small chance for this movie to be good, but right now I'm not satisfied.

Tomorrowland Trailer

This trailer was lame for a few reasons. It was more of movie scene, than a trailer. It showed us almost nothing about the actual movie. And now, I have less interest in seeing the movie than I did before the trailer came out. I guess that's what a teaser is, but it wasn't even a good teaser.

You Only Live Twice (1967) Review

After watching the first four bond movies, I didn't have very high expectations of the fifth, which wasn't any better rated then the first four. Here are my ratings for the first four, Dr. No: C+, From Russia with love: D-, Goldfinger: D+, Thunderball: C-. Dr. No was lame and not thrilling enough, from Russia with love was the most boring action movie ever made with a terrible villain, goldfinger was also boring, had bad action, and is clearly not a great bond film, and thunderball was like the bad sequel to dr. no. Fortunately, they made you only live twice, which easily outdid the previous four bonds in almost every way.

The acting talent remained about the same, but you only live twice had the great elements that a bond movie should have, which the other four lacked in. The first half was just eh, but it was still certainly still better than the first four. The second half was a enjoyable fun ride. The setting was fantastic, the action was epic, and Kissy was a great replacement for Aki. We were introduced to a great villain, and the ninjas(?) were very cool. The ending scene was awesome, and I'm going to give this movie:

War of the Worlds (2005) Review

I've been thinking about it for a while, and I have decided to rate my movie as letters and not numbers, because I tend to change the numbers too often, and it starts off as 60 is good, but then later 60 is awful, and soon enough my ratings would make no sense. Letter grades will make more sense, and I think I will do my reviews like EW's.

As the movie started out, I noticed right away the low quality of the movie. Sure, it was on dvd and not bluray, but any other dvd I own had better quality than that. When we really got into the plot, and you saw tripods, you were exposed to awful effects. I know that was back in 2005, but 1979's Alien and 1986's Aliens had better effects, and that's not a good thing. A tom cruise, steven Spielberg scifi movie based on an epic book, should get the effects right, out of all things. Even with those awful effects, there were other bad things. None of the characters were very likeable. The ending wasn't satisfying. It suddenly changed from the worst situation possible to the best without giving us much of an explanation. But, there were a few good things. Tom Cruise acted greatly, and I'm surprised it isn't regarded as one of his finer performances. Also, the movie kept me interested and a little terrified. So before, when I compared it to Alien for having bad effects, it was much scarer than what is supposed to be a horror masterpiece. Sure, war of the worlds had its moments, but it was much less memorable than it should have been.

Movie Rating: C+

Tom Cruise, great as the lead as usual.

Ranking the Fast and the Furious Movies

The fast the furious franchise had its good and bad movies, so I decided to rank them here, of course from worst to best.

7. The Fast and Furious: Toyko Drift (2006)

This movie had better action, and was more interesting then the next two entries on my list. So why is isn't it no. 4, then? Well, the first movie didn't quite connect with the second the way it should of, but this movie didn't connect to anything and made no sense in the franchise. So, we start off with paul walker joining Vin Diesel and his loser friends at the end of the first. Then suddenly, Vin Diesel and his friends are gone, and now its Tyrese Gibson and Walker. Sure, that didn't make two much sense, but at least had one recurring character and it had the same themes as the first movie. Now, in the third film, "The Fast and the Furious: Toyko Drift" we ditch all the characters in the previous films, move halfway across the country for what reason. If anthing, 2 Fast 2 Furious was a spinoff and The Fast and the Furious: Toyko Drift was a Japanese remake. At least they connected this movie with Fast and Furious 6, but even still this movie makes no sense where it was placed in the franchises. It could be a reboot, a prequel, or a remake, but this makes no sense as a sequel. Even if this movie had paul walker and vin diesel in japan, it wasn't a very good film and had much to improve upon. This movie is absolute trash, and when I rewatch the entire series, I may skip this one.

6. Fast and Furious (2009)

So the sequel to a really crappy movie is even. This movie made sense, and brought the franchise back together after ditching most of the main characters for two films, but they didn't get anything else right. When I watched this movie, I felt bored and unimpressed, because the action really wasn't very good.

5. 2 Fast and Furious (2003)

The addition of Roman Pearce was good, but this movie had too many other crappy cast member, awful music, and the action wasn't good enough to make up for it.

4. Fast Five (2011)

I know many people love fast five, and regard it as the best fast film, but I don't. I think its overrated. Sure, it was good, fresh new start for the franchise and actually involved good action, but the only very pleasing scene was the heist at the end. It was a good movie, but nowhere close to great.
Oh, and Dwayne Johnson was the greatest addition to the franchise.

3. The Fast and the Furious (2001)

Now, we get to an underrated film. Paul Walker was cool. I liked the car chases. It was good start. There were a few flaws, and it clearly lacked in good action, but it was a good movie, and it was almost great.

2. Fast and Furious 6 (2013)

Now, this is a film that I would call great. It had such excellent action, easily bettering the action of any other film in this franchise. The action scenes were fantastic, and they used the best cast for this film. Luke Evans was a good villain, and the car chases were the best. Jason Statham had a great cameo, and I'm sure he'll be great as villain.

1. Furious 7 (2015)

Fast and Furious 6 was good, but Furious 7 is 10 times better. By far the best Furious yet, Furious 7 may jut be the best action movie of all time. It introduces great new characters- like Kurt Russell's Mr. Nobody, and has amazing action sequences that no other film can beat. The mountain chase scene is perhaps the greatest action sequence in history of film. But it's not just another fun action movie. It gives a very touching and well-handled sendoff to Paul Walker after his tragic death.

American Sniper Trailer

Sure, it looked like an interesting biography of an interesting profession. It will probably get good ratings, and Bradley cooper will earn praise, Clint Eastwood may win an award, but we're talking about the trailer here. The trailer was nothing more than a not-too-exciting movie scene with a few flashbacks, when it should have a normal exciting trailer, showing more of his life.
Trailer Rating: B-

Inherent Vice Trailer

With a cast like that, I was thinking this movie would be a dark, thrilling, crime drama that would please critics and fans, maybe take home a few Oscars. Instead it looks like a Wes Anderson comedy, and that is not really my kind of movie. Too weird for me.

The Best and Worst Nickelodeon Shows (and more)

I used to watch many nickelodeon shows, but now its down to 2 (that I don't watch very often) but so I don't forget the decent or horrible shows I used to watch, I made this list. Nickelodeon shows from any time period can be part of this list, but it will probably only contain shows from the 2000's and 2010's.

5. Worst- Sam and Cat

Okay, I wouldn't watch bad shows, so I'm just going to make this portion shows that look bad.
I actually did watch Sam and Cat, and it was one of the worst shows I've ever seen, even worse than Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but the reason I wouldn't put it higher is because many shows look worse. Sam and Cat lost all the humor Icarly and Victorious had, changed the characters for the worst, and made the story boring and pointless.

4. Worst- Rugrats

I never watched an episode of this show, but considering its on this list you should understand why. Seriously, it just looked like a bunch of gay babies walking around. I didn't include a picture because, you don't want to see that.

3. Worst- Awesomeness TV

What is this show?

2. Worst- Sanjay and Craig

Looks like an immature TV cartoon of two losers.

1. Worst- Henry Danger

The other stupid nick commercial I can tolerate, but this one is just awful.

Honorable Mention Worst- The Thundermans

All the character look awful, the comedy is pathetic and the commercials bother me.

8. Best- Brainsurge

This show had a good host, was very entertaining and I looked forward to seeing the interesting variety of contestants, and prizes.

7.  Best- The Penguins of Madagascar

This was a very enjoyable cartoon when I was younger, and it still probably would be today. It had a good sense of humor and was a top-notch cartoon.

6. Best- The Haunted Hathaways

At first this looked like an awful show based on the commercials and the success of new nick shows, but I decided to watch a little of it, when my favorite show wasn't playing, and it was entertaining, funny, and had good characters.

5. Best- Big Time Rush

This show had great characters, good setting, and it was very entertaining to watch, and I sure do miss it.

4. Best- Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness

This show really reminded me of the great movies that inspired it.

3. Best- The Fairly Oddparents

This is an entertaining cartoon that has an interesting idea with the fairies and wishes. It is one of the shows I still watch.

2. Best- ICarly

This was a close one for two, but ICarly just won the spot. With so many great episodes, loaded with humor and good characters this was the ideal nick show.

1. Best- SpongeBob Squarepants

This was a no brainer and an obvious show for #1. SpongeBob, still my favorite TV show of all time has so many great characters, a cool setting,  is actually funny and it is very interesting. I enjoy watching this, every though I don't watch as much as I used. This shows deserves 1000 gold medals.

HM Best: Supah Ninjas

A too short show with good action, comedy, and cast.

Shows that were in the middle

Victorious
It had decent characters and originality, but there were too many bad episodes and too much singing to make this a good show.
Wendell and Vinnie
When this show started I was watching it every week and was very excited for the next episode.Eventually I realized it was .... eh and I ditched, kind of like Agents of Shield.

Black Sea Trailer

The Black Sea trailer came out, which I when I heard about it, it seemed like a good story. And throughout the trailer, it seemed to have good action, adventure, thrills, and acting. Not excellent, but good. The reason I didn't like the trailer is because it sounded completely foreign and had only one known actor: Jude Law, who seemed to be less likeable with a heavy accent. The trailer much lessened my opinion of the movie, and I know now not to watch it in theaters and I am considering not watching it at all.

New Interstellar Trailer

This was easily the best Interstellar trailer, but that's not saying much considering all the other interstellar trailers were awful. Sure, this one actually showed some Sci-Fi adventure on an epic scale and continuing from the previous trailers, made us think this movie would take home Oscars for acting, but it looks boring and I wanted to see it more when before any trailer had come out.
Trailer Rating: B-

Exodus: Gods and Kings New Trailer

Exodus: Gods and Kings full length trailer finally came and it was highly anticipated because the first one was more of a teaser that told us nothing. It started out okay, but things really started to move when the trailer showed tension between Moses and Rhamses who look like they were perfectly cast through Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton. Now we know slightly more about the movie and I may consider watching this in theaters now. Trailer Rating: A
